We made it to Changsha!

We are in the same city as Marygrace. She made the 5-6 hour bus ride from her orphanage today. We will meet her tomorrow at 9:30 A.M. so it will still be Mother's Day in the states. We are excited but nervous and very very tired. Please pray for us, we really need a good nights sleep, because who knows what tomorrow will bring. We will post pictures as soon as we can! Matt, Josh & Andrew we will hold your little mei mei soon. We love and miss you guys tons! Mom & Dad

Scott & Kelley,
We just checked your blog. You are going to meet sweet little Marygrace in a few minutes if everything is on time. Woo hoo! The long awaited day is here. We are praying for amazing bonding and that Marygrace sees this as an adventure rather than her world being turned upside down. :)

Nathan loved Andrew's comment and said that Matt did have fun at the CYCLE event. The boys loved it. I can't believe that they are growing up so quickly. It will be nice to have Marygrace around to keep you two young. :)

We love you! Give your precious little girl a hug from us!

Love, The Solaks :)

Oops! Forgot to tell you....

An extra special Happy Mother's Day wish to you, Kelley! And Happy Birthday to you, Scott! What an answer to prayer...you wanted to have your Gotcha Day be this day. God gives us more than we could ever ask for, doesn't He? From the deaf school, to this day, to even being able to adopt Marygrace- WOW! Great is His faithfulness!

Dearest Scott and Kelley,

Wow... it's hard to believe you are about to meet precious little Marygrace! This is a day you've been anticipating for a long time! It's been a joy and honor to see you both get to this amazing place of trust and surrender in your lives... individually, as a couple and as a family. What a gift you are giving to this little girl who has done nothing to deserve it but yet has been chosen... what a picture of God's amazing grace!

This is so fun to read and see pictures of where you guys are at... enjoy these priceless moments together as a couple and with your new "daughter!" Please know that we are praying for you. We can't wait to meet Marygrace! :–)

With Love,

Dave and Kresson

Scott and Kelley, I'm so excited for you guys! I've been praying for you, especially for the next few days with Marygrace. I remember how awesome and yet how hard those first few days with Sheehan were. We prayed, stayed focused on Christ, depended on Him for energy, and remembered that there was a light at the end of the tunnel...at least we tried to do this. I'm praying for some healthy grieving for Marygrace. We somehow didn't recognize Sheehan's grieving at first and wondered what we were doing wrong that made him cry so much. It just seemed so different than how the books described it. He also wouldn't come near me for the first 2 days. But, eventually he came around. Can't wait to see pictures of you guys together with her!

Brings back all the memories of meeting our Kelly five years ago...Hope all is going well and that you guys were able to get some rest before meeting Marygrace! May she be a good sleeper too. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hoping to read all about your meeting tomorrow A.M.!!
